Before I obviously get to the point where I tell you what I think the meaning of life is, let’s agree that nobody knows the answer to that question with 100% certainty. Concepts like god or enlightenment can help form a personal purpose of existence and understanding but nobody REALLY knows why we’re here. There’s a lot of simultaneous suffering and joy happening on planet earth at this very moment which is all very morally confusing, and the planet itself is simply a speck when compared to the universe. Oh yea and if the whole multiverse theory thing turns out to be true, then we’re all even more tiny and insignificant.
So what the hell is the meaning of life? I figure that since we don’t know the answer and might never know the answer, we might as well settle on something that can at least be a positive force in our lives. With that in mind, the meaning of life is…
Be All You Can Be.
And why not? It’s a pretty worldly statement, positive in every way, negative in no ways, and it’s actually quite motivating. I have personally chose that statement to be my meaning of life, and YOU SHOULD TOO! IMMEDIATELY! hahaaaa

Very existentialistic. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. I happen to like having free will, and of course with free will, you get the good and the bad.
Be All You Can Be. Agreed. Big time. I truly believe I can be a great composer. Not just a good one, but a great one.
The trick is getting there. It means putting in the hours. Studying previous great composers. Knowing why great music is great.
